Elmira Aviators and NYSF Partnership
We are proud to announce that the Aviators will be conducting their Strength and Conditioning training with Sage Mayer at New York Sport & Fitness (NYSF).
Sage Mayer completed a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning from SUNY Brockport in the Spring of 2023. He is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
He leads group strength classes with the primary goal of improving the health and quality of life for the members. Mayer works individually and in small groups with college-bound athletes where he guides them to improve athletic qualities like strength, speed, agility, and power to enhance performance in their respective sports.

“My family and I are extremely excited to accept this opportunity and to work alongside a dedicated staff. We have experience building first-year organizations and I’m looking forward to leaving our mark. I have had my former team play out of First Arena, and I understand it is a privilege to play there. The environment at First Arena is as electric as I’ve ever seen and I know our players will be fired up to be there. I thank Ray Welsh and his staff for their support. Go Aviators!”
